Downtown Hillsboro Farmer’s Market

Join us at the Downtown Hillsboro Farmers’ Market. Current families will be available to share information and answer questions. Activities will be available for children. This year we are partnering with the City of Hillsboro to run the downtown farmers’ markets sprouts program on these specific days. 

What is the Market Sprouts Kid’s Club?

The Hillsboro Farmers Market’s Market Sprouts Kids Club is a community-focused program designed to engage children in fun, educational activities while encouraging healthy eating habits and environmental awareness. Market Sprouts activities are an opportunity for kids to engage with local farmers and get to know where their food comes from to improve health outcomes and inspire a new generation of informed and healthy eaters.

To further empower kids to make healthy food choices while increasing interactions with local farmers, participants receive tokens upon completion of the activity that they can then use to purchase fruits, veggies, and other local products at the market.

When do the activities take place?

Sprouts activities take place on each market day! Look for the tan tent and Market Sprouts sign!
